Interesting book, shame it’s so old now really (1985). In Bodymind, Ken Dychwald writes about the work of Wilheim Reich, Moshe Feldenkrais and Fritz Perls among others, mixed together with old Eastern knowledge. The ‘theory’ of the bodymind is like a step further down the road from body language, it refers more to the language of a persons life experiences as captured by their bodys way of being. So if like me you are interested in such things this is a good read covering such things as body splits, reflexology, chakras and iridology all in the context of what these things can tell us about a persons past and their way of relating to the world in their now.
